Artist Statement

Ever since I got my first camera at the age of four, I have been fascinated with telling stories through video. I got serious about this in my early teens, and it has been my prevailing passion ever since.

My goal as an editor is to tell stories in ways that are unique to video and that would not be possible through text, voice, or still images. I strive to create thoughtful and compelling stories through timing and finesse. My work ranges from films about the culture of being chronically online, to more fictional pieces that try to make visible the invisible.  I aim to make art that pushes the bounds of my own imagination and that draws others to expand their own frames of reference.
